Kosher Waze Devices in Lakewood, NJ
A phone that does one thing: Waze. Set up the way you want it before it reaches you, with a data plan included so it works the moment you turn it on.

What a Kosher Waze device is
A Kosher Waze device is a phone we set up to do one job: run Waze. It is a refurbished iPhone 11, checked and tested by our team, locked to Waze only, and handed over already working — so there is nothing for you to install, sign into or configure.
There is no phone number on it, which means there is no calling and no texting, and there is no App Store and no other apps. That is the product, not a limitation we forgot to remove. Waze is what it does, and it is sold in Lakewood with a metered data plan in the same bundle so navigation works the moment you turn it on.
What makes this one different
It is an iPhone, not an Android device
Every other kosher Waze device we have found is an Android phone — some of them flip phones, some not. This is a refurbished iPhone 11: the full touchscreen, the Waze you already know, and a device most people find simpler to use in the car.
One device, more than 180 countries, one bill
The device you use in Lakewood navigates in more than 180 countries — Israel, Canada, all of Europe, and most of the rest of the world — with no roaming fees, and nothing for you to change before you travel.
It switches networks by itself
Inside it are five carriers, and it picks the best one where you are. If a network fails it moves to another on its own, which is what keeps navigation working as you drive out of one area and into the next.
Who it is for
It is for a driver who wants navigation and nothing else in the car — or for a household that wants a navigation device without handing over a phone that can browse, install and message.
It is not for someone who needs to make calls from the same device. If you need calling and texting as well, tell us in the shop and we will point you at the right device, because a navigation-only phone will not do it.
What it costs
- The device
- $285 plus tax
- The data plan
- $8 a month
The plan includes 150 MB a month, with a spending cap you choose. It is billed after the month closes, for what you actually used.
The case and the car accessories are priced at the counter. Everything is set up and tested before the phone reaches you.
What you get
One payment for the device. We set it up for Waze at the counter before you leave.
The phone
A used iPhone 11, checked over and tested by our team before it goes out.
Rugged case — optional
A protective case is available at the counter if you want one. It is not part of the device price.
Charging cable
A charging cable in the box. No separate purchase needed.
Set up and locked
We set the phone up for Waze only, at the counter. There is nothing for you to install.
What happens next
From paying to using it, in order.
You place the order
You pay for the phone once, online. Your order goes straight into our build queue, and it appears in your account with an order number.
We prepare your phone by hand
Every phone is checked, set up for Waze only and tested by our team before it goes out. You do not need to install anything or change any settings.
We arrange getting it to you
When your phone is ready, how you get it — collect it from the shop, or have it sent — is arranged with you. We do not promise a date on this page; the timing is agreed with you directly.
The plan is billed by the month, for what you use
The data plan is metered and billed after the fact: the month closes, we measure what you actually used, and then it is billed to the card you gave at the sale. Nothing is charged from this page, and changing your data limit is not a payment.
Your data limit is a ceiling, not a commitment: you choose it, you can change it at any time from your account, and data stops when you reach it. Usage is always metered, so a higher limit never costs more by itself.
Before you buy
The same things we say out loud at the counter.
- It is a refurbished, previously used iPhone
- Not a new one, and we will not describe it as new. Every unit passes a full check before it goes in the box, including the screen, battery, cameras, speakers, charging and the connection.
- The battery is at least 80%
- That is the floor we buy to, and every unit is checked for swelling. The back and edges may show wear from its previous owner — the case covers all of it.
- It is locked to Waze, and that is the product
- Not a limitation we forgot to remove. The lock cannot be removed and the phone’s name cannot be changed.
- It is a navigation phone
- There is no phone number on it, so there is no calling and no texting, and there is no App Store and no other apps. Waze is what it does.
- Cover on the hardware
- Your phone is covered against hardware faults that are not your fault — a unit that will not power on or charge, a screen that fails on its own, a battery that swells. Accidental damage, loss and theft are not covered. The length of that cover is confirmed with you when you buy; ask us and we will tell you before you pay.
Fourteen days, undamaged. If the phone comes back in the condition it left in within fourteen days, we take it back — bring it and everything that came with it to the shop, and call ahead so we know to expect you.

Kosher Waze devices: common questions
The things people ask us before they buy one, answered the way we answer them at the counter.
- Can you make calls or send texts on a Kosher Waze device?
- No. There is no phone number on the device, so there is no calling and no texting. It is a navigation device that happens to be built on a phone. If you also need to call and text, ask us in the shop before you buy and we will tell you what we have for that.
- Can I install other apps, a browser or WhatsApp on it?
- No. There is no App Store on the device and no other apps are installed. It runs Waze and nothing else, and we do the setup at the counter before it reaches you, so you never have to change a setting.
- Is it an iPhone or an Android phone?
- An iPhone — a refurbished iPhone 11. As far as we have found, every other kosher Waze device is an Android phone, some of them flip phones and some not. This is the iPhone version: a full touchscreen and the Waze you already know. It still runs Waze only, with no calling, no texting and no App Store.
- Is the phone new?
- It is a refurbished, previously used iPhone 11, and we will not describe it as new. Every unit passes a full check before it goes in the box, including the screen, the battery, the cameras, the speakers, charging and the connection. The battery is at least 80%, and the back and edges may show wear from its previous owner — the case covers all of it.
- Can the Waze-only lock be removed later?
- No. The lock cannot be removed and the device name cannot be changed. That is deliberate: an unlocked unit would be a phone that can browse, install and message, which is the thing you bought it to avoid.
- Do I have to set it up myself?
- No. We check the phone, set it up for Waze only, and test it before it goes out. You do not install anything and you do not change any settings. How you get it — collected from the shop on W Kennedy Blvd, or sent to you — is arranged with you once it is ready.
- Will it work when I travel abroad?
- Yes, in more than 180 countries, with no roaming fees and without you changing anything: the same device and the same plan keep working when you land. Tell us the country before you buy and we will confirm it for the place you are going.
- Does it need a data plan, and how is the plan billed?
- Yes, and the plan is part of the bundle rather than a separate purchase. It is metered and billed after the fact: the month closes, we measure what you actually used, and it is billed to the card you gave at the sale. Nothing is charged from this page, and changing your data limit is not a payment.
- How much does a Kosher Waze device cost?
- The device is $285 plus tax, and the data plan is $8 a month with 150 MB included, capped at a limit you choose and billed after the month closes for what you actually used. The two are sold as one bundle, set up and tested before the phone reaches you.
- What if the phone stops working?
- Your device is covered against hardware faults that are not your fault: a unit that will not power on or charge, a screen that fails on its own, a battery that swells. Accidental damage, loss and theft are not covered. The length of that cover is confirmed with you when you buy, so ask us and we will tell you before you pay.
- Do I have to come to Lakewood to buy one?
- The shop is at 1001 W Kennedy Blvd in Lakewood, New Jersey, and you are welcome to walk in. If you would rather not, call or text (732) 655-2355 and we will take the order and arrange how you get the device.
